Because just pouring money into DD's is not enough, I have suddenly had the urge to take on a Chump Car build. I have access to shop space and could free up enough cash to at least get the donor and start striping her down.

The roll cage fab is a little problematic at this point, but time shall provide a solution I'm sure.

Don't have a donor car in mind and am open to suggestions. Brian has lots of honda and nissan experience. Oh btw, Brian has volunteered to be a team member. (Just thought I'd let you know first Brian.) Of course subaru donor could be a possibility. VW wouldn't be my first choice but rabbits/golf can be had cheap. I have always liked BMW 2002's? Obviously it has to be car we are willing to chop and not feel bad about it. Parts and OEM upgrades being cheap is a plus.

Anyway *if* we got a car to the race stage we need at least of four drivers and a crew chief. Safety equipment like race suits and helmets are required.

They have raced at VIR and Rockingham in the past. I'm thinking the 7+7 race might be a good one to start with the first time out.
