I just downloaded it and started using it. Have to say it does a better job of loading this page than Firefox 3. And so far (with VERY limited use) it seems tres fast. V8 developers claim 10x faster than safari and firefox, and 56x faster than ie7--though no mention made of ie8 beta.

Because I'm not a geek, I would definitely be interested in the (re)views of the hacker community out there. Is this as potentially revolutionary as some are suggesting? Is cloud computing really the future-or is that just what google hopes?

Also, is google getting as scary dominant as MS, or worse? Are they TOO involved in our personal information? (OK, I kinda know the answer to that one, I think.) Does Chrome only make that worse, or is it inevitable anyway? I guess what I'm getting at is, are they to be trusted?
