So, because Steve put the idea in my head, here's an honest-to-goodness firearms thread.

I'll start by listing off my arsenal, while I'm trying to install something for work. Why don't you do the same?

Mossberg pump-action 12ga Shotgun, loaded with .00 Buck, with slugs on the stock.

Dan Wesson .44 Magnum 6-shot Revolver, loaded with hollow-point.

Winchester .22 Rifle, loaded with plain ol' rounds, for all the good they'd do.

As you can probably tell, right now I'm basically set up for home defense (to which end, I'm kinda sorta keeping half an eye out for a pistol-grip stock for the shotgun, and maybe a pistol-grip slide), but I really want to get some practice time in, if anyone's up for some range time, and knows a good place.

As noted in the original post, I'm always up for beer and movies at my place afterwards, and home-cooked food if I get enough notice. There's a 47" HDTV with 5.1 audio, and enough room for maybe 6 or 7 guests (give or take) if they bring their own chairs.
