FUMBBL
as i've mentioned before, a friend of mine is trying to get some Blood Bowl going. here's an e-mail i just got from him:
This isn't really the last call, since you can always join in later, but
we are going to start the first season by the end of this week.
FUMBBL (http://fumbbl.com) has a Java client for download. It also has a
PDF copy of the 4th Edition of the Living Rule Book (LRB 4) for download.
Matches take about an hour to an hour and a half. I'm hoping for a match
a week, but I'm not setting a deadlines in the schedule. If someone holds
things up, we can just send them nasty emails. And I expect we'll all
take a break around holidays.
Yes, that means the first week of this league will be slow. I'm not going
to wait until after Thanksgiving to start, since no one will create a team
then that won't create one now. It won't bother me, though, if people
don't play their first match until after Thanksgiving. I'm really just
wanting to get this started and get people signed up.
If you want to play, create an account. Create a [L]eague team of any
race you want. Send a PM to Dan (PTGMach: http://fumbbl.com/~PTGMach) or
myself (Vol: http://fumbbl.com/~Vol). We will invite your team.
I ask that you don't look at the group and the races that other coaches
are playing until after you have settled on your own race. I'd hate for
what we play to affect what you play, but once you are ready, you can look
at the league:

If you want to test out the client, bug Dan or me. We both have an
[A]cademy team and would be more than happy to play a match against an
[A]cademy team of yours so you can get a feel for the client.
Do it. You know you want to. Do it!!!
