RTS madness and the "world" of warcraft... 3?

So, after turning my teammates ears red with a deadwood-worthy litany of curses last night (and our brief recap discussion), I think I may be in danger of damaging myself or my keyboard with another competitive game of krauts vs brits. Bad pathing in a game where unit facing matters is ++ungood.

So... why don't we ever play WC3? Surely Thomas isn't -that- good (plus it runs in osx, and orcs rule). I don't think I ever finished the single-player campaigns (the hill defense map w/ undead was a PITA), but I enjoyed the single player to that point, something I can't say for CoH - the single-player is just as annoying as the multiplayer to me. Maybe in my mind WWII is purely the realm of shooters or sub simulators - I can't say.

Another plus with WC3 is it seems to be more forgiving to uneven teams, which might help with player balance. Of course, I've never played WC3 multiplayer, so what do I know.

Anywho, if we keep playing CoH, I'll have to swear off the Germans for awhile, at least until someone else can come up with a decent counter to the British once they've dug in.
