and i'm sorry if this comes across bitchy. last night i was inclined to gripe, so i kept my mouth shut, but now my intent truly is to try to figure out how to avoid it...

what do i need to do differently such that i'm not always out of the loop? last night i was ready to go at 8, though i had no idea what we were gonna do. but i checked like 6 different lines of communication (e-mail, d.o, AIM, Y!M, Steam, Vent) and there's nada. nobody. so i sat around here diddling, waiting to see if someone was gonna show up. finally around 9 someone hits vent and says "oh, we were talking about running DKs." well, that's cool. but i'm just really curious how "we" were talking? well, i'm presuming that some of y'all just hang out and talk, and things get said. and i don't expect that to change. :P i'm just trying to figure out what i need to do so that next time i'm not sitting here listening to people playing while i'm cursing at my computer trying to install and patch crap that i could've done hours ago if i'd known.
