Aw, dangit!
Looks like all my Addons have had their settings reset to their defaults. Included are Bagnon (no problem), Quest Helper (mainly minor cosmetic flaws), Pally Power, Omen, and Recount, and most importantly: both Grid and Clique.
The stock factory settings for Grid are "look shitty and don't tell me anything useful", and the stock factory settings for Clique are "just stand there with a gormless look on your face". Neither of these things is very good.
This morning, I've been taking the opportunity to completely revamp my Clique profiles for Ynit and Ynitwo to better focus on their primary roles.
Ynit is now able to do the following with a single click, on any party member (or on a bad guy's target):
- Assist
- Hand of Sacrifice
- Hand of Salvation
- Hand of Protection
- Righteous Defense
- Divine Intervention
...and the following on any targetted bad guy:
- Hand of Reckoning
- Hammer of Wrath
This is going to free up some hotbar buttons, and stop me relying on specially-targetted macros for "key" party members (which were clogging up my G15 hotbar liek waoh), giving me more room for keys to hit in those special "EAT A BUNNY!" moments. Side note: I remain dismayed at the lack of tasty bunnies for a Tank of his level. 15K health, and the best potion I can reasonably be expected to find and use restores 2.5K *max*? Gimme an effin' break.
I've kept his one-click heals and undebuffs, but relegated them to Ctrl and/or Alt combos, since they're less useful to him now, what with Divine Plea (with the Glyph).
Ynitwo has been partially revamped (Flash of Light, Holy Light, Lay on Hands, and Purify all one click away), but expect a similar continued refocusing of single-click abilities to maximize the availability and convenience of healing and undebuffing. I'm also planning on a pair of magical macros to make him change Clique and Outfitter profiles when he changes specs (if he ends up going dual-spec).
I've also started to look at redoing my Grid configuration for better role-specific settings. Ynit is now monitoring Aggro and whatnot instead of health deficit and incoming heals, while Ynitwo should be able to keep a better eye on debuffs, health deficit, and incoming heals.
Not sure what to do for Ynitwo and/or Nitahkalaga yet. Probably put Polymorph on "Right-click targetted bad guy" at least, and learn WTF Death Knight skills are good for -- one day I might even get Nitahkalaga out of the starting area and into the outside world. Wont that be something, eh?
