OME-ME: Fuel Trials for Customs
Submitted by T-Train on Sat, 06/19/2010 - 16:40So the riders with custom rides (crap, am I the only one dumb enough to tear into a MC motor?) needed to check fuel economy and range. Not having any fancy GPS equipment, I have no idea where all we rode... but we covered around 125 miles total.
After all was said and done, looks like my bike has a massive 87 mile range (not including the reserve), and gets an astounding 32 mpg! That's right, friends... There are non-hybrid cars that get better mileage than my bike! Now THAT's what I call American!! :0D
Finally got Jen on the bike...
Submitted by T-Train on Fri, 06/18/2010 - 22:28So I got the passenger pegs on the bike today, after having to drive all the way to Fayetteville to get a mounting kit for them. The good thing is that Jen really enjoyed it, so hopefully we can get a 2-up ride going some time.
Bad thing is that I now have a whole new list of things to buy... Removable backrest, an actual "comfortable" 2-up seat, and riding gear for the woman. I swear these things are money pits...

Oops, I did it again
Submitted by unitinu on Tue, 06/15/2010 - 07:59Managed to overspend on Ynit's gear again -- this time something I could have gone my entire WoW career and not known or cared about (at least for 7 more levels).

Spent some of them Emblem things on a new shield and a new Libram, and then of course had to spend too much gold getting the shield enchanted.

Anyone available for some WoW between now and TN?
Submitted by unitinu on Sat, 06/12/2010 - 16:48I'm trying to get the hang of writing macros within the Grid/Clique environment, specifically to announce when I'm doing something important or stupid. Does anyone feel like logging in and forming a party purely to be my guinea pig while I try to debug them? I'd like to get Ynit's announcements done and working before next TN.
It begins...
Submitted by BMan-NOVA on Thu, 06/10/2010 - 15:02The goal/reward for success at the new job:
748R (deeper lower engine case, better stock internals, better stock suspension)
LSL Superbike Bars
Slipper Clutch
Daytona Blue w/3M reflective white accents and decals(for cool and safety in that order)
Quick Change Axles (2 minute wheel swaps for weather conditions)
I've been away from riding for way too long. I hope to have her by start of next riding season.
748R in Daytona Blue
ThN 6/10 - who is in? (polls are broke)

A reply to Paul's facebook comment
Submitted by micah on Tue, 06/08/2010 - 10:41I don't really think the random assholes I have network ties on FB will understand or appreciate this discussion, so I'd rather comment here.
Paul's comment:
It's amazing that what appears to be a strictly-curtailed and limited Federal Government as envisioned by the Founding Fathers (and as supported by Strict-Constitutionalist Anti-Government Right-Wing Nutjobs like me) is what we ended up with when the "big government" side won. Discuss in comments how history might have gone differently had the Anti-federalists won.
Witty retort:
