Finally broke the seal last night. Had my first ever raiding experience in WoW, trying to 4-man Tempest Keep with Cyn and a few others from Top Shelf. It would have worked too, if not for that whacky mind-control business right at the end there. Having the heals and tank get taken out (every time), leaving two DPS all alone, just wasn't cutting it. The Raid UI is no longer terra incognita, and much less scary than I thought it would be. Now on to the whole "several groups not quite all in one group" thing. Any suggestions for 10-man content to warm up on for an ilvl 361 pally tank?

i was going to necro something to point this out because i didn't really think it needed its own thread, but then decided it didn't really fit too well anywhere else, and a new thread is probably better than a necro. :P

For whatever it's worth, I've narrowed my disconnection problem with WoW down to something in the IDS/IPS stuff in my router. It's about time I gave it a good hammerin' anyway, so I'll be opening the hood some time soon. May also do something about lag spikes and other crap in other games and whatnot.

Is a free copy of Diablo III (and a WoW mount) sufficient impetus to tempt any of you back into the fold?

Since Socialist Death Panel seems to have scheduled itself for some end-of-life counseling, I've tentatively started putting feelers out there with some other guilds, and hinted that I might have a few other folks I could bring with me (if anyone else still wants to play regularly -- I'm looking mainly at Redontop and Martinii, but I haven't mentioned any names).

There is in fact new dungeon content in 4.1

Hey, quick question. Can anyone make me a couple of Lavascale Fillets? I think all the mats are in the guild bank, but I've been wrong before. I'll gladly pay 20g each for a pair of them, or stick some gold in the guild bank, or whatever.

Finally hit 525 Engineering, so I can get me a nice new hat (which was the entire purpose of this little experiment). Took about 1200 gold to make the final push from 510. If anyone needs anything made, please let me know. If anyone finds any recipes, please mail them to Ynit, or leave them in the guild bank, please & thankyou.
