Hi guys & gals,

I have a friend who's working as a make-up artist on the the movie adaptation of "The Hunger Games", which is being filmed in/around Asheville. She gets a per diem amount for hotel, but a decent room costs twice what they give her.

Jen is quiet, would leave at 4-5am, & would be working 15 hour days, so would essentially be an invisible guest. She just needs a bed and a place to drop her luggage. I can vouch for her. And she's a gamer.

so, here's the deal: Paramount is apparently deciding, or at least testing the theory, that the triangle is a decent testing grounds. as a result, i just caught a screening of a movie i'd never heard of (though that qualifier doesn't mean much.) and while i'm not much of a moviegoer, -or- much of a critic, i'm interested in at least putting some thoughts out somewhere, especially if it helps bring more opportunities for me to see free movies. :P

Yep, it's the first photo release of Snake Eyes for the new GI Joe movie. I'm not real thrilled about some of the core changes but Ray Park (aka Darth Maul, aka Toad) is so far the only thing I'm excited about. I mean, Marlon Waynes as a Joe? Seriously?
