OME-ME: Fuel Trials for Customs

So the riders with custom rides (crap, am I the only one dumb enough to tear into a MC motor?) needed to check fuel economy and range. Not having any fancy GPS equipment, I have no idea where all we rode... but we covered around 125 miles total.

After all was said and done, looks like my bike has a massive 87 mile range (not including the reserve), and gets an astounding 32 mpg! That's right, friends... There are non-hybrid cars that get better mileage than my bike! Now THAT's what I call American!! :0D

Finally got Jen on the bike...

So I got the passenger pegs on the bike today, after having to drive all the way to Fayetteville to get a mounting kit for them. The good thing is that Jen really enjoyed it, so hopefully we can get a 2-up ride going some time.

Bad thing is that I now have a whole new list of things to buy... Removable backrest, an actual "comfortable" 2-up seat, and riding gear for the woman. I swear these things are money pits...

Speaking of wife agro...

In my defense, the labor to change my tires was going to be $97 for the rear, and $65 for the front, minimum 1.5 week lead-time. I found some places that would mount and balance the tire (off the bike) for $30, and Cycle Gear would balance the tire for free if I did everything else..
